Concrete Patios Installation in Kannapolis, NC
Friday night in Kannapolis means a cookout, a ball game on the radio, and neighbors in the yard. A good concrete patio gives all of that a place to happen. Without one, folks haul chairs across wet grass and fight mosquitoes in the mud. A patio fixes that in a single pour.
Stamped concrete can give a patio the look of slate or brick, and our crew also works in Harrisburg on backyard spaces like this. Patio installation starts with the layout, the slope, and the way you plan to use the space. Patio replacement begins with tearing out the old slab and fixing what made it fail.

The Value of Concrete Patios for Your Property
A concrete patio adds living space without adding a roof. It handles chairs, grills, fire pits, and planters, and it cleans up with a broom. In Kannapolis, a good patio also keeps the yard drier, because the slab sends water where you want it.
Here is why many Kannapolis homeowners choose this work:
- Space for grills, tables, and fire pits
- A clean surface that sweeps and rinses easily
- Slope that moves rain away from the house
- Finishes with good grip when wet
- Color and pattern choices for any style
- A flat spot for outdoor lighting and power
- Added value when you sell

Concrete Patios for Kannapolis Backyards
The Cabarrus County Cooperative Extension shares local weather and soil facts, and they match what we see in the field. Kannapolis yards sit on rolling Piedmont ground with red clay, hot July highs, and heavy storms. A patio near the back door has to tie into the house, drain away from it, and stay comfortable in the sun. Neighborhoods around Village Park have older homes and mature trees, while newer streets have open, sunny lots. We plan the pad around shade, slope, and the view.
What Makes Our Patios Different
We shape each patio to fit your yard, not a template. We pack a stone base, set the steel, and slope the pad about a quarter inch per foot away from the house. If you want a fire pit or an outdoor kitchen, our concrete footings can support heavier features. Our owner works other trades too, so we run conduit for lights and outlets before the pour. Joints are cut to line up with doors and corners.
Our Concrete Patio Installation Process
We start with a free walk through and a sketch. Next we mark the shape with paint and string, dig out the soft soil, and pack the base. Forms go up, steel goes in, and we pour. We finish with a broom, a trowel, or a stamp, then cure the slab slowly. For weather planning, we use the National Weather Service forecast. Replacement is similar, with a demolition step at the start.
